Began his career at Deloitte in 1981, where he earned his CPA and CFP credentials. Five years later, he left accounting to launch his first entrepreneurial venture in financial planning. Soon after, he partnered with several former Deloitte colleagues to found CPAgents, a life and health insurance agency. Serving CPA firms and their clients across the country, CPAgents grew into both an Inc. 500 and Inc. 5000 company before being acquired by the Leavitt Group in 2009.
