As Chief Market Strategist, Gina looks to use her expertise in institutional asset allocation, domestic and international economic policy, and broad market trends across traditional, alternative and emerging asset classes to identify attractive offerings for Lido Advisor clients.
Gina researches all areas of the globe and she is considered a thought leader on the intersection of macroeconomic thought and long-term investing. Her work has centered on market rotation and asset pricing dynamics across changing economic policy and market sentiment regimes. She has also introduced innovative methods for evaluating manager strategies and detecting regime biases for total return, absolute return and illiquid strategies. In addition, she has recently expanded her focus over the past several years to include environmental, social and governance (ESG) and other sustainable investment trends, economic impact evaluation and market risk pricing dynamics.
For the past two decades, Gina has been a regular guest on CNBC covering the Fed, OPEC, corporate earnings announcements and general market trends on Trading Nation, Power Lunch, Fast Money, Squawk Box, Street Signs, Worldwide Exchange, the Exchange, Closing Bell, Squawk Box Europe, Squawk Box Asia and Business Arabia. She also writes, hosts and produces Real Life Economics, a podcast on the intersection between economic theory and real life.
Gina is CEO of Chantico Global, a global consulting firm with offices in Los Angeles and London that advises global pension, foundation, and family office clients, and she also serves as a Trustee of the Los Angeles County Employee Retirement Association (LACERA). She previously served as the Director of Equity and Asset Allocation for Roubini Global Economics (RGE) and Co-Lead Portfolio Manager for American Century’s Strategic Asset Allocation family of funds, where she was American Century’s youngest ever Portfolio Manager managing over $6.5 billion in assets under management.
