Brian leads Lido’s advisory team across the country. As a former Division-1 college basketball coach who has helped build several businesses, he brings deep experience in entrepreneurship and a coaching-driven philosophy that shapes client relationships and team development.
Brian spent 22 years at Bernstein Private Wealth Management, advancing through multiple senior roles across the organization and becoming known as a leader in the M&A advisory space. He provided comprehensive pre-transaction planning and custom investment strategies with a particular focus on business owners, specializing in advising clients through liquidity events and major financial transitions, assembling the right team of specialists to maximize value and prepare clients for what comes next. Among his most rewarding contributions at Bernstein was mentoring the talent that drove the business forward and shaping the culture of collaboration that defined the team.
Born and raised in Los Angeles, Brian’s early career began in basketball, including coaching at the Division I collegiate level. He and his wife, Melissa, co-founded a skincare clinic in West Hollywood and developed a skincare line called MILAJ. The couple has four children, and coaching all of them has been among his most fulfilling pursuits, inspiring him to help launch a basketball academy serving youth across the city. Brian is also a member of the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO).
