Senior Managing Director
Stuart Katz is a Senior Managing Director with Lido Advisors. Stuart focuses on working with entrepreneurs, uniquely successful artists, high net-worth families, and nonprofit organizations on socially responsible investing, investment planning, wealth transfer and charitable giving. Prior to joining Lido, Stuart spent 10 years with Bernstein Private Wealth Management, most recently as Managing Director of the firm’s Private Client business in Los Angeles and Orange County. Stuart previously worked as an attorney at national and international law firms advising early- and later-stage companies on numerous issues. In addition, as an independent advisor, he worked to provide strategic guidance to, and raise capital for, early-stage companies in a variety of industries. Stuart enjoys getting to know all aspects of his clients’ lives and becoming their go-to point of contact whenever an important issue arises. His professional goals include to build his business while helping Lido continue to grow and meet the evolving needs of its clients.
Stuart received a Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University and a JD from Northwestern University School of Law. Before attending law school, Stuart was a legislative intern for Senator Edward M. Kennedy and played professional basketball for Hapoel Holon in the first division of the Israel Professional Basketball Association. He is a member of The State Bar of California, the Cornell Club of Los Angeles, and the Northwestern Alumni Association. Stuart is a former Co-Chair of the Geller Leadership Project of the Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles and former board member of the Israel Policy Forum. He lives in Los Angeles with his wife and two children.
