Biography

Jeffrey Westheimer joined Lido in 2008. In addition to working with clients on investment and wealth planning, Jeffrey sits on the Executive Committee which provides overall direction for the firm and is a member of the investment committee for liquid and alternative assets. Jeffrey oversees certain asset allocation models and handles some due diligence performed by Lido on certain private real estate offerings. Jeffrey has been designated an Accredited Wealth Management Advisor™ by the College of Financial Planning. He has won the Five Star Wealth Management award for financial advisors in Los Angeles for six years in a row (2013-2018). Jeffrey is also a member of the Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO), a global network for entrepreneurs. Jeffrey began his career working for the American Express Company in New York City for over nine years performing legal, business development and marketing functions in the Service Establishment division. He left American Express in 2007 and moved across the country to pursue his goal of being a financial advisor. As a life-long investor, Jeffrey grew up in San Antonio, Texas, where his investment interest was piqued in real estate, stock and bond investments. He dedicates time to several charities including the Water Buffalo Club, which is a private charity that helps children in LA County and is on the board of directors for the Westside Food Bank. The WBC and Westside Foodbank are two organizations that further his desire to help children in need and battle food insecurity that is pervasive in our society. Additionally, he is on the finance committee of Westland School, a progressive independent school. Jeffrey resides in West Los Angeles with his wife and two children. In his spare time, Jeffrey can be found hiking with family and friends in the Santa Monica Mountains and helping to coach and cheer his kids in AYSO soccer, West LA Little League, various basketball leagues or at the bouldering gym.
