Biography
Blair Buick joined Lido in 2020. She is responsible for quantitative analytics across the firm, supporting growth initiatives, project management, and strategic planning. Her industry experience has included financial modeling for off-market transactions, traditional and alternative mutual fund analytics, and private investment due diligence. She also has held roles as a product manager, both for institutional and individual client investment offerings. In addition, Blair has served as the project manager and subject matter expert for multiple FinTech (Financial Technology) platforms, seeking to deliver efficiency and expertise to their users. Her past employers have included The Renaissance Companies, Altegris Investments, Allianz Global Investors, and Linsco Private Ledger (LPL).Blair earned her bachelor’s degree in Business, with a finance concentration, from Boston University. She is a CFA® Charterholder. Originally from Orange, CA, Blair is the mother of two young boys and a proud military wife. She volunteers her time as the Head of Finance and Budgeting with The Wingman Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to honoring the memory of fallen Navy and Marine Corps air warriors and supporting the families they’ve left behind. Blair enjoys the ongoing challenge of finding new solutions to varying client needs in evolving market conditions. She also loves surprising her children with new adventures, exploring with her dog, and making her family’s home wherever the Marine Corps deems fit.
