Biography
Eric Hoffman is the Director of Lido’s Allocations group. Having an extensive background in Portfolio Management, Trading and Compliance, his group focuses on ensuring that client portfolios are allocated in line with their stated objectives and with the firm’s fiduciary duty. He has worked with Ken Stern, both at Lido and a predecessor firm, since 2003. He is also a member of the firm’s Investment Committee. Earlier in his career, he worked as a market maker on the options floor of the Pacific Stock Exchange, traded options around concentrated positions for high-net-worth clients at UBS Paine Webber, and as a staff accountant at KPMG. He has a bachelor’s degree in Accounting as well as a Master of Accounting degree from the University of Utah. He also holds an inactive license as a Certified Public Accountant in California. He resides in La Jolla, CA, and enjoys golfing, windsurfing, and snow skiing.
