Daniel Young joined Lido Advisors in 2020, bringing over twenty-five years of finance, compliance, macroeconomic and portfolio management experience with institutional and high net worth clients. Throughout his career, he raised over $1.5 billion of new assets globally. Earlier in his career, Daniel served as Fraud Investigations Specialist with a large national insurance provider and was President of the Connecticut Chapter of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. He was also a Senior Manager with PricewaterhouseCoopers in the Dispute, Analysis and Investigations Division within the Financial Advisory Group where he managed health care litigation cases and provided testimony as an expert witness in the area of health care fraud and white-collar crimes. In addition, Daniel has extensive experience as a Chief Compliance Officer with a Registered Investment Advisor firm in San Francisco. His experience further includes serving as a Product and Portfolio Manager for multi-asset and alternative investment strategies and portfolios for both domestic and international clientele. Daniel has broad experience in international business development and has built a successful product network globally. Daniel is also a frequent featured speaker and panelist on investment, anti-fraud, macroeconomic, and SRI topics. Daniel received his bachelor’s degree from Southern Connecticut State University and an MBA from the University of New Haven. He also holds his Series 65. He is a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™.
