Anthony Cortina, CFP®

VP, Senior Wealth Manager

Anthony joined Lido Advisors in 2022 after nearly 15 years advising clients at a large Chicago-based RIA firm. In 2015, he and his wife relocated from Chicago to Washington, D.C. so he could spearhead the establishment of the firm’s first office on the East Coast. In addition to working directly with clients and helping the office grow, Anthony led the D.C. team from a mentoring and training standpoint, helping younger advisors and associates expand their knowledge base, not only from educating them on planning topics, but also guiding them on interpersonal skills, often through the use of behavioral finance discussions. Coming from a long line of educators, Anthony takes great pride in his ability to make complex financial planning topics comprehensible to everyone – new colleagues and clients alike – and in a way that resonates.

Anthony graduated with a degree in Finance from Miami University (Ohio), holds his Series 65, and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™. He was also named one of Forbes’ “Top Next-Gen Advisors” in 2018.

In early 2017, Anthony co-founded the Young Professional Advisors Committee (YPAC), an arm of outreach within the Greater Washington Community Foundation’s Professional Advisor Network. Later that year, he also was asked to join the Foundation’s main PAC as a board member.

Anthony and his wife reside in Arlington, VA, and enjoy keeping busy chasing around their young son and daughter. He is also an avid guitar player, collector, and builder.
